I'm Ali, twenty years young, living in beautiful Australia. Currently third year at university, studying a Bachelor of New Media Arts, majoring in Photography and Graphic Design. This blog is going to display my attempts at photography. I'm still learning and improving, now I just have to build an amazing portfolio and get myself out there.
In 2011 I have completed many photography assignments, here are some of my assignment pieces for the year.
Control Assignment
For this assignment, I couldn't plan the images I had to leave the photos to uncertainty. I gave my models some props and they did whatever they wanted.
Subject Assignment
In a group of 3, we had to produce an image using studio lighting in 15 minutes with a model we'd have never met, and had to completely set up the studio.
Food Photography Assignment
Pretty simple, take photos of food using the studio, the images have to be able to fit well into a contemporary cooking book.
Advertising Assignment
We were given an item which we had to sell and words in which we had to incorporate in our images, we got sunglasses and used attitude.
Folio Assignment
Where I was finally give freedom to do what I want, so I took photos outside looking at human form under a patterned shadow.
